Sunset Senior Photos at the Cleveland Museum of Art | Adriana

I photographed Adriana, a senior at Padua High School, at the Cleveland Museum of Art and the Italian Cultural Garden. Golden hour lingers just long enough to give you a handful of strong frames before it drops behind the trees, and we used all of it.

Adriana stood easily in her white dress against the garden’s old stone walls, and her smile matched the warm tones of the sunset. We began at the Italian Cultural Garden, where the marble and the steps added a sense of history. She moved along the quiet paths laughing while the last of the sun softened everything around her.

From there we went to the Cleveland Museum of Art. The white columns stood tall, and Adriana’s flowing white dress suited them, simple and unforced. The light fell on her face just right.

We did not rush. We walked, laughed, and let moments happen. There were no forced poses, only the evening breeze, the fading light, and Adriana taking each moment as it came. From the arches of the garden to the open grounds at the museum, each frame holds her at a point in her life just before something new.
