Love, Culture, and Tradition: A Beautiful Wedding Celebration of Kelsey and Vasyl

As a photographer and storyteller, I have had the privilege of capturing many beautiful moments in people’s lives, but Kelsey and Vasyl’s wedding was truly special. From the moment I met them, I could feel the love and warmth between them, and it was clear that their wedding day would be a celebration of their unique backgrounds and cultures.

The Ukrainian Catholic Church of Saint Josaphat in Parma, OH provided the perfect setting for their wedding ceremony. The church was steeped in history and tradition, and it was clear that Vasyl was proud to share his Ukrainian heritage with Kelsey and their guests. The ceremony was filled with music and prayers in both Ukrainian and English, and it was clear that Kelsey and Vasyl had put a lot of thought into incorporating both of their cultural traditions.

After the ceremony, we made our way to the Cleveland Cultural Gardens, Embassy Suites Hotel in Independence, and the Astrodome Event Center in Parma for some unforgettable photo opportunities. The sunny and warm weather was perfect for capturing the beauty of the gardens. Kelsey and Vasyl looked absolutely radiant in their wedding attire, and their love for each other was evident in every shot we took.

The reception at the Astrodome of Parma was a feast for the senses. As You Like It catering provided a delicious spread that satisfied everyone’s taste buds, and the breaking of the Korovai (Ukrainian wedding bread) was a highlight of the evening. Kelsey’s Lebanese background was also celebrated, with some Lebanese traditions incorporated into the festivities. The Astrodome was the perfect venue for the celebration, with its elegant decor and spacious dance floor that allowed everyone to let loose and have fun.

But beyond the food, music, and dancing, what really stood out to me was the love and support that Kelsey and Vasyl received from their friends and family. Their bridal party and guests were clearly overjoyed to see them tie the knot, and their love and warmth made the evening even more magical.

As a photographer and storyteller, I feel truly grateful to have been a part of Kelsey and Vasyl’s special day. Their wedding was a celebration of love, culture, and tradition, and it was an honor to capture these moments for them to cherish for a lifetime.
