Allison and Mike are both seasoned musicians, and their wedding at Tall Oaks Event Complex in Kirtland followed the same melody they share. After traveling the world, they came back to Cleveland and chose Tall Oaks for their Ohio wedding.
The ceremony was outdoors among the trees. Allison walked down the aisle to an orchestral piece she had composed for Mike, a gift that told everyone present how much music means to the two of them.
Our goal is to tell each couple’s love story, and Allison and Mike gave us room to do it. Our creative photo and video session on the Tall Oaks property in Kirtland caught the real emotion and ease between them.
Julie, who was photographing that day, is also an opera singer, and she and Allison had bonded over music. At Allison’s request, Julie sang “The Prayer” by Andrea Bocelli and Celine Dion at the reception, and many guests were in tears.
After the song, Allison and Mike cut their cake and shared their first dance. When the band Sumrada began to play, the dance floor filled with laughter, and guests danced the night away.
The evening held one last surprise. Allison and Mike and their musician friends took the stage and gave the guests a music show of their own, full of energy and plain joy. It was a night that left everyone smiling.
