Downtown Cleveland Engagement Photos | Gina and Kyle

Late summer is a magical time–the air is fresh and the sunlight is soft and golden. We spent a recent Friday evening like that capturing sunrays and smiles with Gina and Kyle. These two love the combination of clean lines and ornate edges of the Downtown Cleveland cityscape, so we started our engagement session surrounded by it all in Cleveland Public Square.

The energy surrounding these two is pretty magical. They are so sweet and affectionate with every smile and with every touch. We cannot wait for their wedding day in 2021.

Our next destination was Edgewater Park, where we walked along the sandy beach. While freezing this moment in Gina and Kyle’s story together, we were surrounded by life–babies sifting through the small stones on the shore, young couples cozying up on the rocky pier, and friends of all ages laughing and splashing in the water. After the many months in solitude at home, that scene fostered a most comforting sense of chaos. The world felt big, and so close, for that moment!

Then we headed further down the shore. As the sun made its quick plunge beneath the horizon, we snapped a few final shots wrapped in soft magenta hues and full of love.
