I hosted Maria Elli Petridou at my Cleveland studio. She is a cellist from Greece who studies at the Oberlin Conservatory. Her visit was a collaboration to make headshots and branding photos that speak to her audience and support her personal brand.
Over a two hour session we worked toward her artistry and her personality. We started with classic shots on a plain background, moved to bright natural-light photographs against white, and then made some creative compositions against painted canvas. Each setting showed a different side of her.
