Ariel International Center Rooftop Wedding | Kaitlynn and Zach

Kaitlynn and Zach’s wedding at the Ariel International Center is one I was glad to photograph, partly because the building is home to my studio. They were married on the rooftop with Cleveland stretching out below them, the wind in their hair and the sun sinking low. The skyline, the lake, and the evening light made it a day you do not forget.

We began in the quiet of the studio. Kaitlynn sat in the light with makeup by Sarah Helena and hair by Ashley Peyko, both of Roots Salon and Wellness Spa. Her gown, a simple, elegant dress by Augusta Jones, moved like water with every step. Zach, standing tall in a custom suit from Balani Custom Suits Chicago, looked at her the way someone does who has found his partner for life.

We made their portraits in the studio, where the light was soft and the mood was quiet. Then we went downtown, past the buildings and streets to the Cleveland Public Library and the Fountain of Eternal Life. The fountain roared, the streets buzzed, and their bridal party laughed and celebrated beside them. Against that pulse, the couple’s calm stood out.

The ceremony was on the rooftop with Cleveland all around. The sun went down and turned the sky gold, and for a moment it felt as if everything had stopped. The city, the lake, and their friends and family stood as witnesses.

As night came, the reception began. The rooftop glowed with lights, Coyne Catering fed the guests, and Vybe Entertainment brought the music. The dance floor stayed alive, and the couple danced with the city all around them.

It was a day of love in a city that showed its best, from the calm of the studio to the buzz of downtown and from the rooftop ceremony to the rooftop dancing. Cleveland gave Kaitlynn and Zach its skyline and its light, and they gave each other everything else.
