Angel and Kay celebrated their “I dos” with glamour, sunshine, and friends beneath a bold and blue July Ohio sky. Sage and blush were the accent colors for this airy and romantic wedding day, complimenting Kay’s lace William West gown from Lakewood’s famed Liliana Bridal and Angel’s striking black-trimmed, white tuxedo jacket from Tailor Sage. Lush and elegant florals from Elena’s Flowers added to the beauty of this magnificent wedding day.
The morning began with a sweet gift exchange between the soon-to-be newly weds–a pearl pendant and seemingly endless bouquet of long stemmed roses for the bride and a gold chain and a message-embroidered handkerchief for the groom. After finishing touches to hair and makeup by the talented Tang of Me time Beauty Bar, a champagne pop, and a few final squeezes from her bridesmaids, Kay stepped into her wedding gown and made her way to Cleveland’s Saint Leo the Great Catholic Church for her big walk down the aisle.
This sacred and holy matrimony, led by Father Joselito Delos Reyes, was met with an abundance of joy and celebration by loved ones from all around the world. The stunning couple and their bridal party then made their way to the Cleveland Cultural Gardens and the Cleveland Museum of Art en route to the night’s reception at the Astrodome Event Center in Parma. The overgrown trees and grand architecture of the Italian Cultural Garden offered a beautiful backdrop for bright and romantic bridal portraits.
Kay and Angel kicked off their reception with a first dance together. The spectacular moment was enhanced by billowy fog and pillars of sparklers that framed the couple’s dance floor. Following a beautiful meal from As You Like It Catering, a night of dancing to the sounds of Dj Chevi Red and Dj Corre Camino, and a taste of that gorgeous wedding cake from Marie’s Cakes, Angel and Kay made their way through a corridor of sparklers and loved ones for their grand exit from the Astrodome and entrance into the rest of their life together.
