For florals they chose silk rentals from Something Borrowed Blooms, which is a practical decision in January and one that nobody looking at these pictures would guess.

Snow flattens contrast and bounces light up into faces from below, so a group that would squint in July looks comfortable in January. These took about as long as everyone could stand, which was long enough.

The portraits are the part of this gallery that could only have happened in winter. White on white, the vineyard stripped back to its structure, and a quiet that a summer wedding at the same place would not have.
