Festival of Song USA, Brooklyn, New York Event Photographer

The music was beautiful, the decorations were lavish, and the food was exquisite once again at this year’s Festival of Song USA at El Caribe Country Club in Brooklyn, New York. With over a dozen live performances from talented singers, musicians, dancers, and DJ entertainment featuring CRC Productions, the entertainment was energy-packed and inspirational for the lively audience that filled the ballroom at El Caribe. Of the ten singers that performed as part of the singing competition, the highlight event of the evening, three were awarded top prizes: Tina Siciliano was awarded third prize, Zarba Galavia was awarded second prize, and Kristina Shafranski was chosen as the winner to represent both the United States and Festival of Song USA at this year’s Cantamare Festival in Sicily in July. During her gorgeous presentation of Puccini’s aria “O mio babbino caro”, Miss Shafranski carried the audience with her on her journey through the aria with beautiful expression and a warm vocal timbre. Congratulations to everyone who participated in the January 25^th event, but most especially to Silvana Romania, who’s hard work and tireless dedication to the Italian culture in America has made Festival of Song USA a possibility each year.
