The blustery and icy northeast Ohio winters can be a bit unpredictable for those wishing to capture its beauty. However, we were so lucky this past Sunday to have a sunny, breezless afternoon of smooth shimmery snow and golden light for our engagement session with Kimberly and Vlad.
We met at the Rocky River Reservation in West Park, Ohio, for some expansive shots with the evergreens and blue skies. These two came perfectly prepared with hand warmers, hot water, plastic bags for sloppy boots, and warm fuzzy blankets. Kimberly wore an amazing pair of scarlet suade pumps—and even braved the 6-inch snow in them!
Vlad and Kimberly thought that we might want to warm up with some hot coffee after that first location, so we headed to the Old River shopping district in Lakewood for some yummy Erie Island coffee (and a few fun photos.)
What better way to wrap up a perfect afternoon session than with some cozy shots by the fire at Burntwood Tavern?! This favorite date night spot for the newly engaged couple offered lots of room for creativity.
Just weeks into their engagement, Kimberly and Vlad have lots of fun ahead. Best of luck with dreaming up and building your life together!
