Jodie and Dan have a beautiful story. After a long break and living a thousand miles apart, they reconnected and realized that being together felt so right! We were fortunate to photograph Jodie and Dan’s engagement session. This was the engagement session filled with moments symbolizing their story. The humorous elements from soccer games, memorable time spent with glorious animals, – horses, and all relaxing walk at the beach in Cleveland at sunset – all made for great photo opportunities for Jodie and Dan’s engagement session.
Going to a special place where we can relax, feel good, distance ourselves from the time-consuming routines that often make us feel so unproductive – this is what made it so memorable to me from this engagement session. Looking through these images today, I feel relaxed and blessed to have been able to photograph this couple who rediscovered each other in love.
Our final destination was the beach Lake Erie in Cleveland. If I were to go to that pace again with my wife, reflecting on their story I would think of it this way: this is the place of many benefits, i.e. things that chase away the nebula from our mind and make us distill and clarify the values that led us to each other in the first place.
